The assignment was to renovate an old irrigation pool in a country home in the Murta, part of the municipal district of Alzira, an area well-known for its environmental and landscape wealth.

The aim was to provide better access to the pool, cover the inner walls and extend the surrounding area to make better use of sunlight during the summer.

The goal is to seek the best possible dialogue with the beautiful surrounding forest. To achieve this, the border between the hard paving and the pool will feature a gutter filled with stones, for a better transition between the built-up space and the unspoilt area. Bluish-green will also be used on the pool walls as well as a grey similar to the surrounding limestone paving. This will being harmony with the space around it.
